Tender description
East Dunbartonshire council is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System for the provision of passenger transport vehicle services, for both scheduled and ad-hoc services, including services for those with Assisted Support Needs. This service will include the provision of vehicles and both escorts and vehicle drivers. All drives must be licenced and insured and both drivers and escorts must be PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) registered. Suppliers are expected to provide a service which is safe, reliable, is sensitive to the passengers, and considers environmental impact in the use of vehicles. Services will include for passengers within the council that will require ad-hoc journeys for general purposes. East Dunbartonshire council is looking to establish a dynamic purchasing system for a period of 4 years for the provision of passenger transport vehicle services, for both scheduled and ad-hoc services, including services for those with Assisted Support Needs.
