Electrical isolation of the boilerplant and strip out of its electrical services back to the control panel Isolation of the boiler gas supply Summer strip out of the existing boilerplant including most of the LPHW services in the plantroom, local gas supply pipework and the boiler flues and flue header Installation of temporary power supplies for the two hot water generators, the HWS secondary pump and the associated instrumentation and the new gas safety shut-off valve Installation of a circular sheet steel protector to the 152 x 152 building column Extension of the boiler concrete base Installation of a stainless steel flashing plate for the boiler flues replacing the wired glass panel above the plantroom doors Installation of a back inlet gully immediately outside the plantroom with 100mm drain pipe to the existing manhole and 50mm metal sleeve through the outside wall Installation of an extract grille and frame over the opening in the chimney stack left when the flue header is removed Preparation of gas supply pipework Shutdown of the gas supply and installation of a safety shut-off valve and isolating valves Installation of the new boilerplant with its flues, LPHW pipework, gas pipework, condensate and general drainage pipework Installation of an expansion vessel and pressurisation unit with mains cold water supply, system feed and drain pipework Installation of a mains cold water supply for flushing of the Adey magnetic filter Thermal insulation of all new and modified LPHW and mains cold water pipework Remedial thermal insulation to any existing insulation cut back or damaged by the works Installation of a new plantroom power supply isolator, plantroom distribution board, plantroom lighting, emergency lighting and double switched socket outlet all with galvanised steel cable containment Installation of a new plant control panel for the boilerplant and the existing HWS plant Installation of field wiring for the new boilerplant esting and commissioning Reconnection of the field wiring to the HWS plant and testing Clearing site Provision of as fitted drawings and an operation and an operation and maintenance manual Demonstration of the new boiler plant and services to the Trust’s Estates department
