Webcasting Services Single Party Framework Agreement

Dublin City Council proposes to establish a Single Party Framework Agreement for 36 months from commencement with the Council having the option of extending the agreement for a further 12 months, subject to the satisfactory performance of the tenderer. The initial contract will be for the provision of webcasting services for the Council Chamber, City Hall, Dame St., Dublin 2 The Council wishes to invite tenders for the delivery, installation, maintenance, upgrade and support of webcasting / video streaming technology. The proposed start date is January 2016. Dublin City Council has a requirement to review the current webcasting system in the Council Chamber with suitable webcasting / video streaming technology, which is intended to: • Give public access to, and involvement with, the democratic workings of the Council • Maintain awareness of current Council activities amongst citizens and staff • Deliver services at the most appropriate point for the citizen • Promote e-Government, democracy and public accessibility to citizens, members and staff The aim of the tender is to select a company for the provision of webcasting services that will allow Dublin City Council to webcast the City Council and other meetings as required.
