Worcester City Council is inviting Tenders from Potential Providers for the delivery of homelessness prevention focused support for single people and childless couples across Worcestershire. Worcester City Council will manage the grant on behalf of Malvern Hills, Wychavon, Wyre Forest, Bromsgrove and Redditch district and borough councils. The Service will be for single people and childless couples across Worcestershire who are at risk of rough sleeping. It is expected that the service will be prevention focused. The successful provider will deliver a service that supports people to live a richer and more fulfilled life, including but not limited to having the skills and confidence to maintain a tenancy, access to education and training, improved physical and mental well being and ultimately employment. Our vision includes the delivery of the following services: — Single point of access for all individuals at risk of homelessness; — No second night out outreach service; — Homeless prevention support; — Tenancy ready floating support; — Peer-to-peer advice and guidance. The Council wishes to secure 1 provider to deliver these services. The service being commissioned will be for a period of 2 years with an option of extending 1 further year. Funding is dependent on future funding settlements. The successful Contractor must have previous experience of delivering similar work for other local authorities and must be able to start work on 1.4.2016.
