Tender description

NS&I is looking to enter into a contract for a period of three years with a market research agency that specialises in the provision of omnibus research services. NS&I uses omnibus services to help collect bespoke information on the general public’s opinions and behaviours with regards to various issues. This information is often used to provide a lifestyle slant to publications NS&I releases (eg press releases) but also to inform business decisions. NS&I also uses omnibus services as a cost effective means of measuring levels of awareness and cut through of its various advertising activities. In addition to this ad hoc use of omnibus services, NS&I currently runs a regular (quarterly) savings survey on an online omnibus. This survey has been running for over ten years and is used to feed into stories that NS&I issues. This report is used to position NS&I as an expert commentator on retail savings. However, it should be noted that that there is no firm guarantee that these quarterly questions will continue to run. The ‘lowest/actual contract value’ figure of £75,000 entered is an estimated figure for the first year of a three year contract, based on the services that NS&I is expecting to require.
