Tender description

Applications are invited from operators of double deck, large, medium, small buses and taxis who may be interested in undertaking, on a contractual basis, the operation of a Transport Service(s) to School Centre(s) throughout the Republic of Ireland. This is a qualification system. Applicants can select the county or counties for which they wish to be considered. It is intended that successful applicants will be included in their selected qualification panel(s) for certain services to be provided for the school years between August 2016 and June 2021. It is also intended that a call for competition will issue in respect of certain school transport services commencing at the beginning of the school year in August 2016 ( the “First Call for Competition). Please note that service providers who have successfully qualified to a qualification panel in 2011 for School Transport Services which were advertised in June 2011 (and expires in June 2016) and to a qualification panel in 2012 for School Transport Services which were advertised in April 2012 and to a qualification panel in 2013 for School Transport Services which were advertised in April 2013 and to a qualification panel in 2014 for School Transport Services which were advertised in March 2014 and to a qualification panel in 2015 for School Transport Services which were advertised in January 2015 must apply for to Qualification panel 2016 to 2021 if they wish to be considered for certain services which fall under this School Transport Services “Qualification Panels 2016 to 2021“.
