Tender description
Kent County Council (KCC) is looking to reshape and redesign service provision for vulnerable homeless people across the county of Kent and would like to invite partners and providers to participate in an engagement exercise to inform this process. The aim of exercise is to examine the current landscape of homelessness services and explore innovative approaches to future delivery. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss their ideas, thoughts and suggestions directly with commissioners. 1. Interested organisations are invited to attend two all-day engagement events on Tuesday 26.1.2016 and Tuesday 9.2.2016. Please be aware that you will need to express an interest to obtain the venue details. Further details regarding the structure of the event will be made available nearer the time through the Kent Business Portal.2. Ideas, suggestions or recommendations for commissioners can also be submitted via the portal. If you wish to express an interest and attend the event please follow the steps below: — Register your company free of charge via the portal — Await acceptance and you will receive an email confirming your username and password. — Use your username and password to log into the Portal and express your interest in SS15 102 Homelessness Service. Places at the event will be limited and may be restricted to 1 or 2 people per organisation to ensure a wide range of views. Please ensure to confirm places no later than 12:00 on Thursday 21.1.2016 for the event taking place on Tuesday 26.1.2016 and Thursday 4.2.2016 for the event taking place on Tuesday 9.2.2016. In relations to communication. All potential service providers will need to ensure that any correspondence in regards to the event and service is posted on the portal and not by email. Please ensure that once you register on the portal that you select the category of interest of ‘32000000 Social Community Care Supplies and Services’; ‘25000000 — Housing Management’ and ‘15170000 — Housing’ for this event as well any other categories you may be interested in for future opportunities. You will then receive alerts that relate to your chosen categories via email when new contracts are published on the portal for Kent County Council and from other Councils that use the Kent Business Portal. Please note that the submission of an expression of interest is not a prerequisite to any subsequent procurement application.
