Who Speclialist Work With Communications specialists in other parts of the business, user researchers, content designers, service designers, product managers, user support, performance analyst, delivery managers, service manager. What Specialists Work On As Engagement Lead for the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS), you will: * Lead engagement and manage the change components for development, delivery and adoption of the DAS * Create briefing and communications materials for inter-team and cross-government engagement * Forge relationships with stakeholders from all levels to deliver transformation activity * Develop core DAS engagement materials explaining purpose, progress, benefits and risk-mitigating activity * Ensure stakeholders understand DAS and stakeholder needs effectively fed into the DAS and wider BIS Digital Group * Innovate ways to deliver organisational, cultural and behavioral change to embed the DAS into BIS and relevant stakeholders Where the Work Takes Place Department for Business, Innovation & Skills 1 Victoria Street London SW1H 0ET Skills Funding Agency Cheylesmore House Quinton Road Coventry CV1 2WT Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements You’ll be split between our office in Westminster, London and the Skills Funding Agency which is based in Coventry. Work Location Department for Business, Innovation & Skills 1 Victoria Street London SW1H 0ET Skills Funding Agency Cheylesmore House Quinton Road Coventry CV1 2WT Security Clearance Minimum Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Experience of communicating complex and challenging messages and devising engagement strategies in a fast-paced and complicated environment (Scores 9%) Experience of managing change, building and developing stakeholder relationships that deliver business transformation in a complex landscape, including addressing issues promptly and effectively (Scores 7%) Having demonstrable knowledge of how government works, as well as digital environment (Scores 2%) Demonstrable experience of working in a culture of continuous delivery and improvement. (Scores 5%) An understanding of the role effective stakeholder engagement and communications plays in agile delivery, user centric design, user research, content strategy, digital transactions and digital transformation (Scores 6%) Proven experience balancing changing priorities and dealing with ambiguity (Scores 5%) Experience of working alongside other engagement specialists to deliver the aims of the programme, including commissioning work from external teams (Scores 5%) Proven experience of embedding change management into an organisation (Scores 5%) Proven experience using agile project management methods (Scores 5%) Experience of being part of a multidisciplinary team (Scores 4%) Examples of previous plain english engagement materials and communication content such as blogs, briefings, speeches, internal presentations, relationship management materials etc (Scores 4%) Nice to Haves Knowledge of key stakeholders involved in wider departmental digital transformation activity across Whitehall (GDS, MoJ, HMRC, DWP etc) (Scores 1%) Ability to use design, image and video editing software (Scores 1%) Previous experience in a government transformation programme (Scores 1%) No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Do you work well in a collaborative agile team?
