022/2016 Walled Garden 3G MUGA Pitch

Tender description

Currently this project is only available for suppliers to express interest. Tender Documents will be made available around October 2016, works are envisaged to commence in late 2016. UWE Bristol plans to create a 3G MUGA pitch and spectator area with disabled access on a condemned concrete playing area. This will include upgrading the existing floodlight columns to a suitable level for playing sport and instate new fencing and high level ball stop netting. Adjacent to this a recreational sports area will be created which has a rubber crumb surface and path way that leads to outdoor table tennis tables, basketball hoop and goal below and an outdoor fitness rig. The area will also need to have outdoor seating. Both areas will need large amounts of clearing before work can be completed and the area surrounding these sport facilities will need to be upgraded to ensure it is presentable for all users.
