SUPPLY OF BEDDING PLANTS

Tender description

Cambridge City Council has a number of parks and open spaces and road islands in which high quality floral bedding schemes are provided. The Council seeks tenders from qualified and experienced companies for the supply and delivery of high quality bedding plants to meet this requirement. The contract is for supply of approximately 90,000 plants per annum, split 40,000 (summer) and 50,000 (winter). Full details of the plant types and varieties and also the minimum specifications required are given within the Invitation to tender document. Delivery of the plants is twice per annum during the first week of October and the first week of June. The contract will run for up to three years (six contract deliveries) commencing October 2016. Each June delivery will also include the supply of plants, planting and delivery for approximately 180 Hanging baskets and 36 balcony troughs for City Centre areas.
