Tender description

Invitation to tender for the supply of services in respect of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to Erewash Borough Council’s mechanical and electrical assets within its corporate property portfolio. This tender is for the provision of Gas servicing and repair. The Council is seeking to continue a planned maintenance regime within its property portfolio designed to provide both improved flexibility in terms of balancing the cost of service combined with the maximisation of asset life. Furthermore, the new regime will seek to address the current planned to reactive spend ratios with a view to achieving enhanced budget certainty through an increase in the ratio of planned works to reactive repairs. Anticipated contract start date is 1st August 2016 for a period of 24 months. There is an option to extend for a further 12 month period subject to funding, business need and satisfactory peformance.
