Ashfield District Council (the Council) are seeking to secure the provision of a cost-effective and comprehensive window cleaning service for the their operational and ancillary buildings, Main offices, Community Centres, Sheltered Housing Schemes and communal areas in blocks of residential flats. The Council requires a responsive service to maintain the effective safe use of the Council owned buildings, the safety, security and well-being of all users and visitors, to ensure an environmentally-friendly practise for the management of waste. The Council will award the contract for an initial period of three years subject to the provisions within this document, with a possibility of a further two years extension. This contract will be broken down into four separate lots: Lot one - Hucknall area Lot two – Kirkby and out-lying areas Lot three – Sutton area Lot four - Homeless The Suppliers are invited to bid for any one of the four lots, or for all four.
