Tender description

Buxton School is an all-through 3-16 school at the southern end of Waltham Forest; on the borders of Newham. The School serves a diverse community and achieves high results for all groups of pupils from a variety of backgrounds, including approximately 60 % for whom English is an additional language. With results improving year on year the School has been able to expand and now have 4 forms of entry in the primary phase and 6 forms of entry from year 7 to 11. Pupils automatically transfer from year 6 to year 7, removing the tension of primary secondary transfer applications.
