London Borough of Hackney (the Council) is invited Service Providers to tender for the provision of employment support services to Hackney residents, through the European Social Fund, with a focus on linking workless residents to jobs in strategic growth sectors. Target groups are the economically inactive (i.e. out of work but not claiming Job Seekers Allowance) and the long-term unemployed The support provided under this programme will be voluntary, non-mandatory and will be tailored to addressing the individual?s multiple barriers to the labour market and matching clients with appropriate job vacancies. The successful provider will work in partnership with the Council?s in-house Ways into Work team. The contract will be based on Payment by Results.
