Tender description

The National Procurement Service, on behalf of the Welsh Public Sector, wishes to establish a collaborative framework agreement for Welsh Language Training. This will include formal and informal learning with both accredited and non-accredited training. Over 73 public sector organisation in Wales have committed to the NPS including all Local Authorities, NHS Bodies, Welsh Government and Welsh Government Sponsored Bodies, the Police and Fire services and Higher and Further Education. Further Organisations that may use NPS framework include other Welsh Public Sector bodies and Charities. Further information on NPS can be accessed from the link below: http://npswales.gov.uk/ To provide a Welsh Language accredited courses at Entry, Foundation and Intermediate levels. The course must include an exam with a National Recognised qualification at each level. To provide a Welsh Language accredited courses at Uwch / Higher Level 1 and 2. The course must include an exam with a National Recognised qualification at each level. To provide Welsh Language non accredited courses at various levels and a Welsh Mentoring scheme. A catalogue of pre designed courses must be made available to the Customer. Examples of classes could include: You can offer other types of learning examples within the technical response for evaluation. Dealing with customers through the medium of Welsh, ‘Ysgrifennu yn Glir yn y Gymraeg’, Weekly ½ hr classes, ‘Glowi Iaith’, Proficiency level training. To provide Fast-Track, intensive learning for Entry, Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency levels. To provide flexibility as some people prefer to learn at pace by attending week long courses.
