Tender description

Lot 1: Floating Support Service — Homeless Prevention and Resettlement Service. The service will provide both practical assistance and support to help people who are at risk of losing their homes, and those who have been homeless to recover quickly, settle into their accommodation and sustain a positive lifestyle in the community. The service will provide resettlement support commencing before the ‘move date’ from temporary or supported accommodation. Homeless families moving from temporary to permanent accommodation face a critical time of change and will need support to help ensure a successful transition. Lot 2: Supported Refuge Service for Women and Children experiencing or at risk of Domestic Abuse. This service will provide an accommodation based support provision to those women and children, principally from Sheffield, who are fleeing domestic abuse and, as a result, are considered to be at high or medium risk of serious harm or homicide and will include those who may be at risk of losing their homes. The service will be operated out of a purpose-built accommodation unit with provision for 21 units of accommodation, including 1 unit used for emergency placements. An additional, minimum of 14 self-contained units are to be sourced by the Provider.
