Tender description

NI Water operates a substantial range of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, telemetry and control equipment to enable the provision of high-quality water and sewerage services to its customers. M and E Services is responsible for the maintenance of this equipment to facilitate the ongoing reliable and efficient operation. M and E Services provides technical advice and expertise as well as effectively coordinating the day-to-day maintenance activities of the associated front-line maintenance teams thus contributing to the organisation's overall strategic business aims. M and E Services is also responsible for the management of all operational activities with regard to statutory compliance in the area of Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (PEIT), Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Lifting Operation and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR), Lifting Equipment and Pressure Systems Inspections (LEAPS) and Gas Monitor and Breathing Apparatus Equipment Maintenance. This contract is for the supply, delivery, installation/minor refurbishment and maintenance of existing chlorination equipment and spare parts within NI Water's sites across Northern Ireland. This contract and the associated goods and services are required to keep NI Water in full compliance with statutory requirements.
