Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Education (Mainstream) Home to School Transports in Cambridgeshire. Cambridgeshire County Council has set up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Education (Mainstream) Home to School Transport in Cambridgeshire. The DPS includes services for the supply of home to school/college transport for mainstream students. These Services need to be provided by licensed vehicles including buses, coaches and taxis. Contracts awarded under this DPS are quite varied and include the requirements for vehicles of the following sizes: — up to 4-seat vehicle; — 5 to 8-seat vehicle; — 9 to 16-seat vehicle; — 17 to 50-seat vehicle; — 51+ seat vehicle; — Wheelchair accessible up to 4 seats; — Wheelchair accessible 5 to 8 seats; — Wheelchair accessible 9 to 16 seats. Contracts will be awarded in the main for the period of three (3) years with an option to extend for a further twelve (12) months. Indicative Tenders for admission to the DPS can be completed for evaluation at any time throughout the duration of the DPS. However, Potential Providers who are not already on the DPS but wish to tender for any of the approximate 150 routes commencing in September 2016 must complete an Indicative Tender on the LGSS Due North Procurement Portal System no later then 12:00 on Tuesday, 26.4.2016. A further competition for these routes will be conducted via an electronic process. Each route will be awarded as an individual contract.
