Tender description

The Business Growth Hub wishes to appoint multiple consultants to enter into a Consultancy Bank Framework Contract for the Provision of Environmental Consultancy Services as set out below. Commissioned consultancy services will be delivered as part of Business Growth Hub's Green Growth service. The objectives of the environmental support from consultants will be to improve the competitiveness of recipient businesses through: — Advising on eco design and development of new products and packaging; — Recommending innovative improvements to processes; — Identifying ways to reduce use of natural resources; — Identifying new or improved ways to manage and reduce use of energy; — Identifying opportunities to implement or utilise renewable energy sources; — Supporting businesses to implement renewable energy and other measures resulting in achieved cost and carbon savings. Services will be delivered to SMEs in Greater Manchester across a range of business sectors and technical specialisms that may include but are not limited to 1 or more of the following areas: — Process Efficiency; — Product/ Packaging Eco-design; — Water Efficiency and Effluent Management; — Energy Efficiency; — Renewable Energy; — Transport; — Carbon Management and Reporting. This contract has an option to extend for a further 6 months (until 30.6.2019) if required.
