Kingston University are currently deploying an IT strategy to transform and modernise the University's IT capabilities. One of the projects that form part of this strategy is the Shared Data Migration Project — Follow Me Data Solution. The Follow Me Data solution is about providing students and staff (users) a better service in accessing their data from any device, any time, and from anywhere in the world. Currently, access to data is restricted and the only method by which users can access data on their own device is via the KU portal (go.kingston.ac.uk) or remotely (virtual desktop).
