Christmas Illuminations 2016 - 2019

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council, 'the Authority', is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced providers for this project. The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to the provision, service, maintenance, installation and storage of Christmas Illuminations and associated items, including the provision of Christmas trees, to enhance the festive season in several key retail centres in Portsmouth. The initial Contract period will be for three [3] years with possibility of extending the term by a further two [2] years to a maximum total term of five [5] years in increments to be agreed, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties. The closing date for receipt of your expression of interest is given against the heading entitled - Date documents can be requested until. The Authority is targeting to award the contract by 17th June 2016 with a subsequent commencement date of 1st August 2016. The successful Supplier will be required to work with the incumbent provider to ensure an effective handover occurs between the contract award and commencement date.
