Support on FoxPro based Rents & Works Systems Cork City Council (1)

Please refer to attached work document RFT for full & complete details and how to respond. However, in brief:- Cork City Council requires support for it's Rents and Works Manager applications developed in the FoxPro 2.5 environment. The Works Manager application manages the works orders raised on the councils rental property stock. The application is utilised by 30 housing staff both within the main council building and our remote depots. There are no interfaces between Works and any other application. Support work on this application would typically involve reindexing the database or resolving issues with corrupted memo fields. Requests would also be received to write queries to the database in response to questions from councillors or management. The Rents Manager applications functionality has reduced in recent years with the implementation of both the Agresso Cash Receipting and iHouse (National Local Authority Housing Solution). However the application is used by 40 housing staff as their primary enquiry tool for Rents Issues and also to manage the rental balance owed by tenants. The interfaces between the Rents System, iHouse and Agresso are critical to the integrity of the housing data.
