For further information please see tender documents which are available via The Chest - https://www.the-chest.org.uk/ Project reference DN124444 The Council is seeking a preferred supplier to carry out a programme of RRS improvement and modification works. The works primarily involve replacement of non TD 19/06 compliant safety barriers with new compliant systems chosen from the Highways England Approved System List. The programme is to be delivered in conjunction with Highways England and involves in the order of circa £2 million worth of road restraint system replacement renewal works over the next 4 to 5 years. The successful contractor will be required to take up the role of Principal Contractor under the CDM 2015 Regulations. The Design, Project Management and Site Supervision of the RRS replacement programme has been commissioned via the Council’s Professional Services Framework (PSF2) and is currently being carried out by Capita who act as the Principal Designer under CDM 2015.
