Tender description

The Office of the Revenue Commissioners, Ireland wishes to advise that they may tender for the following services in 2016. 1 or more tenders for external ICT support, to work with in-house and multi-vendor teams, on a range of enterprise frameworks, business applications and technical architectures. It is anticipated that the work will be broken into a number of lots, covering a broad range of ICT roles including Senior and Junior Architects, Managers, Team Leads, Systems Analysts, Analyst/Developers, Developers (mainly Java and COBOL), Testers (Senior, Junior, Team Leads and Managers) and Specialist/Niche roles. In line with Revenue's multi-vendor strategy, it is intended to engage more than 1 vendor for each of these lots. In some of the lots the successful vendors will be guaranteed a minimum level of work. Additional work may be awarded to the successful vendors based on Revenue's requirements. The work will cover supporting Revenue's enterprise frameworks, maintenance and enhancements, new developments, computer language and tool support, business intelligence/analytics, architecture and ongoing standards implementation such as ITIL, CMMI. Transition/handover from existing suppliers may be required. It should be noted that this PIN is for information only and does not require a response.
