To obtain further information record your interest on Sell2Wales at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/search/search_switch.aspx?ID=42931 Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) in conjunction with Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) is procuring a Waste Data Management System to collate, manage and report the Authority's collection and disposal data and financial information. This is a Framework Agreement where the project will commence with a pilot system for Pembrokeshire and WLGA and if successful will be available to all other Local Authorities in Wales. Please note no local Authority has indicated that they will participate at this stage, this will only become known once the system is operational and proven there is no guarantee of the number of individual authorities who will subsequently contract via this framework. The framework Agreement will be awarded for a 4 year period. Contracts can be called off by individual Authorities at any time during the framework period. Contracting Authorities will be entitled to place orders for specific contracts at any point up to the end of the 4 year period, which means that a specific contract can extend beyond the lifespan of the framework Agreement. Pembrokeshire County Council currently collates all its collection and disposal data through a series of Access databases and Excel spreadsheets, this currently causes issue with the data quality and accuracy. High levels of staff resources are currently required to input the data, audit and analyse the information available to produce the reports required for the authority on an internal and external basis i.e. Performance Indicators, Waste Data Flow returns, NRW Quarterly returns for Civic Amenity and Recycling Centre and also for regional benchmarking for WLGA.
