Tender description

Essex County Council (ECC) intends to establish a 4 year Framework Agreement for principal contractors to carry out design and construction related works primarily on behalf of ECC. The main driver for demand within ECC is the capital programme to expand the number of school places across the county. This programme is typically valued at 40 000 000 GBP — 50 000 000 GBP per annum. The Framework Agreement will be available to other Contracting Authorities within the East of England. The Framework will consist of 2 separate Lots as follows: Lot 1 works from a value of 50 000 GBP to 2 000 000 GBP; Lot 2 works from a value of 2 000 000 GBP +. Applicants will be invited to apply for 1 lot only and each lot will have up to 5 Contractors. ECC will use Construction-line and the PAS91 Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to reduce the administrative burden on suppliers wishing to apply for this opportunity. If you are already registered with Construction-line, you will not need to complete the full PQQ, simply supply your Construction-line membership number and complete the project specific supplementary questions S1 to S13 in the separate document that will be provided. Please ensure that you log-in to your Construction-line profile and confirm that the information held on your company is accurate and that you are registered for Building (Design and Construct) — 45210000-2 and have the following notational values in place: Lot 1: Notational Value of 2 000 000 GBP or above; Lot 2: Notational Value of 10 000 000 GBP or above; You must do this by 17:00, 12.8.2015 to ensure any changes can be made to your information held by Construction-line prior to the closing date of this notice. Please contact Andy Preston on +44 7584703352 or andrew.preston@capita.co.uk for assistance. Applicants not currently registered with Construction-line are encouraged to do so as this will simplify the pre-qualification process. To register in relation to this contract notice please contact Tom Jackson on +447712391082 or thomas.jackson@capita.co.uk You will need to start the registration process as soon as possible and ensure that you achieve a fully registered status by 17:00 10.8.2015. Those suppliers not already registered with Construction-line may register at: http://www.constructionline.co.uk/static/signup/sign-up-as-supplier.html Suppliers not registered with Construction-line will not be precluded from expressing an interest in this contract notice but will need to demonstrate that they meet the pre-qualification requirements, through the completion of the full pre-qualification questionnaire.
