Tender description

Transport for London (TfL) Surface Transport is in the process of increasing the number of bus driver toilet facilities available for use by bus drivers during their shifts. TfL is therefore seeking a suitable Supplier to undertake the manufacture and supply of a new toilet cabin unit to be manufactured to a TfL owned design and to replace existing toilet cabins where they are now approaching the end of their operational life. Design, installation and maintenance are not included in this procurement. TfL expects to procure approximately 40 toilet cabins at a rate of 5-6 cabins per calendar year. The Contract will be for a duration of 5 years with extension options for up to 2 further years. TfL is planning to procure the toilet cabins via the negotiated with advertisement procedure under the Utilities Contract Regulations (2016). The purpose of this prior information notice is to notify interested parties of this upcoming opportunity. It is TfL's intention to commence the procurement process in May 2016.
