The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) is inviting Tenders from creative and forward thinking organisations for the above services. Description: The Council is putting in place a programme of events to celebrate certain of the protected characteristics identified in the 2010 Equalities Act. The three selected protected characteristics are: Gender (women) Disability Sexuality and Gender Identity (LGBT) The programme will run over a period of three years between 2016 and 2018. Following a previous tender exercise the Council identified organisations to organise events to celebrate the Gender (women) and LGBT characteristics. The Council is now seeking an organisation to organise events to celebrate Disability and in particular the International Day of Disabled People which will take place in December 2016. A Suppliers’ Event will be held between 1400 and 1600 hours on Wednesday April 6th for all suppliers interested in bidding for this work. The Suppliers’ Event will be held in room MP704 at Tower Hamlets Council, Town Hall, Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent, London E14 Could those suppliers wishing to attend please confirm their intention with the Council through the portal.. The anticipated contract start date is: Tuesday, 01 May 2012 The estimated value of the contract is: A maximum of £10,000 per year Total Cost: a maximum of £30,000 For a period of: Three Years Organisations wishing to express their interest are requested to register on the London Tenders Portal (www.londontenders.org) where the tender documentation will be available for download. Organisations must ensure that access to the system is available to their representatives dealing with the contract. The Council will not be liable for the lack of delegated access within the organisation and will not send any documentation regarding the contract, which shall be exclusively available through the portal. Tenderers are responsible for allowing sufficient time to submit their ITT. The Council accepts no liability whatsoever for ITTs that are not submitted due to internet connectivity issues, transmission delays or errors.
