Tender description

RMBC is inviting bids from a number of organisations who might be able to provide Outside Catering Services that meet the needs of the Authority. The tender relates to 3 lots: Lot 1: A catering service for private functions and weddings at Clifton Park and Museum. This will include a fine dining element within the museum to offer pre-show meals for the nearby Civic Theatre. The organisation(s) will work alongside RMBC to establish the catering requirements for each of the Council's client bookings. Lot 2: A professional catering organisation to provide buffets to a variety of geographically spread venues for consumption by RMBC employees and guests. The requirement will vary from small ad hoc buffets for visitors, to the regular requirements of training venues. Lot 3: A supplier to provide items which include sandwiches, Panini's, salads, snack pots and wraps to it's Riverside Cafe. RMBC is looking to appoint a professional catering organisation to provide a catering service for private functions and weddings at Clifton Park and Museum. This will include a fine dining element within the museum to offer pre-show meals for the nearby Civic Theatre. The organisation(s) will work alongside RMBC to establish the catering requirements for each of the Council's client bookings. As this service has never been offered by RMBC before, an estimated spend is difficult to forecast but is expected to be in excess of 25 000 GBP per annum. RMBC is looking to appoint a professional catering organisation to provide buffets to a variety of geographically spread venues for consumption by RMBC employees and guests. The requirement will vary from small ad hoc buffets for visitors, to the regular requirements of training venues. Spend per annum is estimated to be around 10 000 GBP with the majority being spent by Rockingham Professional Development Centre. RMBC has its own Riverside Café catering department which provides in-house catering for staff and members of the public. Riverside does not have the capacity or equipment to bake or prepare their own produce to enable them to provide this function on a large scale. Certain items therefore need to be bought in. RMBC is looking to appoint a supplier to provide these items which include sandwiches, Panini's, salads, snack pots and wraps. Spend per annum for this requirement is estimated to be around 35 000 GBP per annum.
