Exterior cleaning work for buildings

Tender description

North Lanarkshire Council wishes to establish a multi lot contract for the Provision of a Window and Glazing Cleaning Service. The main requirements of the contract will be for external and internal window cleaning on a variety of buildings and structures unless otherwise stated. The resulting contract will be owned and managed by North Lanarkshire Council and will be made available to it Arms Length External Organizations (ALEO's) Culture NL and NL Leisure. The contract will contain 3 lots for its window and glazing cleaning requirements. Lot 1 of the contract will comprise of buildings and property that allows North Lanarkshire Council and its ALEO's to undertake its daily operational business as well as facilities utilised by the general public. Requirements within Lot 1 include but are not limited to, small single storey buildings to large office complexes up to 10 storeys, depots and warehouses, leisure centres, libraries and halls. Estimated spend for lot 1 is 50 % of the total contract value. Lots 2 of the contract will comprise of all Educational establishments maintained by the Councils Regeneration and Environment Services, Facility Support Services on behalf of the Councils Learning and Leisure Services. Lot 2 requirements include; Nursery Schools, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Additional Support Schools. Estimated spend for lot 2 is 30 % of the total contract value. Lot 3 of the contract will comprise of all Residential and Care Establishments. Requirements within this lot include Sheltered Housing Complexes, Care Homes, Day Care Centres and any other Care Facility the Council operates. Estimated spend for lot 3 is 20 % of the total contract value. Tenderers will be free to bid for 1, 2 or all lots. 1 Tenderer will be appointed to each Lot. 1 Tenderer has the potential to be appointed to multiple or all Lots.
