Tender description

The Accommodation and Residential Services Team works in partnership with a number of providers across 12 halls of residence to successfully deliver student accommodation to over 4 500 Leeds Beckett Students. Leeds Beckett Accommodation is a mixture of owned, leased, and nominations agreements and therefore essential that the system can support the different processes and the change in portfolio year to year. A typical application cycle runs from February — September each academic year with a volume of approximately 5 000 applications. The current accommodation system is built in Oracle Forms and PHP. This system was internally developed and has been in operation for 10 years, and is unlikely to be resourced by the University moving forward. A new system is required to ensure we continue to meet the changing demands and expectations of our customers and the growing competition within the sector. With this in mind, the University is looking to procure a system that will effectively manage the following functions to enhance the services provided to the students, and provide a cohesive approach to Accommodation and Residential Services.
