Tender description

The Trust's intention to carry out a procurement to establish a framework for Taxis and Non-urgent Transport Services. It is split into lots with suppliers able to bid for one lot or a multiple number of lots. One lot is restricted (as a Reserved Contract as provided for in law; The Public Contracts Regulations 2015; Regulation 20). The duration of the framework is 2 (two) years with the option to extend by a further 2 (two) years. The Trust intends to use the period of the PIN to help supplier understand how that can bid by holding two events (one in York and one in Scarborough). If the system allows suppliers are asked to register their interest so that we can gauge the appropriate size of the venue to hold successful events. IT IS NOT INTENDED AS A CALL FOR COMPETITION. The requirements of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (and the sites participating in the Contract) may change pending any future reviews of the status of services provided and therefore, where changes occur, Contractors will be given the appropriate notice. Suppliers are asked to note that there can be no guarentee or commitment to any work from participating in this tender.
