Provision of a Retail and Commercial Leisure Assessment to Inform the Fareham Borough Local Plan Review

Fareham Borough Council (the Council) is inviting proposals to produce a Retail and Commercial Leisure Assessment to inform the preparation of the Local Plan Review for Fareham Borough. The Local Plan Review will reflect emerging housing, employment retail and leisure needs for the next 20 years, running from 2016 until 2036. The specific purpose of this study is to ensure that a sufficient quantum and range of viable and spatially appropriate retail and leisure sites are provided for in the Local Plan Review to meet the needs in the Borough to 2036. The Study must provide a robust evidence base that can clearly demonstrate its conformity with the National Planning Policy Framework (paragraphs 23, 156 and 161), current Planning Practice Guidance and any other relevant guidance, policy or legislation.
