Gloucestershire Intensive Support Model (Home Hub) - Engagement Event - Monday 11th April 2016

Please note this is not a tender opportunity at this stage. PLEASE NOTE: Due to demand, this event is a repeat of the event held on March 1st 2016, and is not a follow up or subsequent event. People who attended the event on 1st March need not attend this event . We would like to invite you to an event to help us explore how we can provide intensive support and placements for young people with complex needs into the future. In Gloucestershire a number of children and young people have challenging behaviour and complex needs which makes living with their family or in a family-based foster placement very difficult. For these young people it is difficult to find suitable family based support or when necessary a suitable local residential placement. This has led to some young people experiencing multiple placement moves, emergency placements, out of county placement and school exclusions. Gloucestershire County Council wants to work with our partners to develop alternative and creative local care interventions. This engagement event will provide you with the opportunity to contribute your ideas to help shape our thinking and provide you with the opportunity to network with other Providers and professionals working to deliver similar outcomes to yourselves. Date: Monday 11th April 2016 Time: 10:00 to 13:00 (coffee on arrival at 9:30am) Venue: GLIC (Global Language Immersion Centre), 4-6 Commercial Road, Gloucester, GL1 2EA goggle maps GL1 2EA; while there is no parking at the venue itself, there are several public car parks within a short walk. Numbers are limited so you will need to book a place.
