The Anglian Northern (Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire) Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC) is looking to appoint a Funding Officer to undertake a pilot study, initially for one year, focussed on supporting the delivery of the growth agenda in the Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire Region. This post will be 100% funded by the RFCC. This post will be paid for using Local Levy funding, which is local investment pledged by the RFCC members and is used support Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) work related to national Flood Defence Grant in Aid funds. The aim is for this post holder to identify new sources of local, regional, national and international funding which all flood risk management partners within the RFCC’s geographical area could potentially benefit from. The post holder will also need to research potential private funding sources and have an ability to seek contributions from the private sector i.e. from local businesses which would benefit from FECRM work.
