DIT takes the well-being of its employees very seriously and the benefits of early intervention in identifying and helping to resolve both work and personal problems of employees are obviously greatly beneficial to DIT as an employer. DIT is committed to providing an Employee Assistance Programme. The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) will be accessible via self-referral and referrals from other organisational parties including union representatives, Human Resources and line managers, taking into account data protection and employee confidentiality. A combination of the following is indicative of the service(s): • Mgmt. Consultation & Training • Phone Counselling 24 hours/day and 365 days/year • Assessment/Diagnosis/Short-term Counselling and/or referral • Face-to-Face sessions • Information Service & Legal/Financial consultation • On-going case management • Critical Response Team • Utilisation Reports & Account Management Meetings • Launch support/materials • Annual top-up on awareness training and materials • Staff induction 5 times per academic year – meet & greet stand 1hr • Web Portal including wellbeing material • Possibly encrypted web-based counselling (similar to Skype) Additionally: • Well-being programmes /workshops • Additional promotional presentations /workshops • Occupational Health Services
