Provision of Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Services

Tender description

The Contracting Entity intends to establish a panel of service providers in each county in the Republic of Ireland under each of Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3 to provide required repair and maintenance services for vehicles in its fleet. Applicants may apply to be considered for one or more counties under one or more of Lot 1, Lot 2 and/or Lot 3. At the tender stage of this process, it is envisaged that the Contracting Entity will select a number of service providers in respect of each county in the Republic of Ireland under each of Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3, for appointment to a multi- provider framework agreement on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. The most economically advantageous tender in respect of each county under each of Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3 will be calculated in accordance with the award criteria to be published with the Conditions of Tendering. The number of service providers appointed to the multi-provider framework agreement in respect of each county under each of Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3 shall be at the Contracting Entity’s discretion (the “Framework Participants”). It is proposed that the term of the multi-provider framework agreement will be three years with the Contracting Entity reserving the right to extend the term by up to two further periods of twelve months. During the term of the multi-provider framework agreement, if the Contracting Entity requires the provision of services in a county under Lot 1, Lot 2 or Lot 3, it is envisaged that the Contracting Entity may issue an invitation to mini-tender to Framework Participants on the relevant multi-provider framework agreement or, in certain circumstances, offer a contract directly to one or more Framework Participants.
