Tender description

To investigate methods of modifying rubber compounds in order to reduce the thermal burden imposed on wearers of CBRN respirators, gloves and over-boots. It will also monitor the effect of the modifications on the physical and mechanical properties of the rubber and its processing characteristics. The work is to be undertaken in accordance with the SBRI application 59431-443165 part 8, as submitted to and held by Innovate UK for the Enhanced Individual Protective Equipment Protection programme.
