Nitrile Healthcare Examination gloves

Tender description

The Dublin Dental University Hospital is currently seeking submissions from suitably qualified suppliers for supply of examination gloves on a draw down basis as and when required. Approximately 1.6 million nitrile healthcare examination gloves are used annually (quantities based on 2014 usage and for guidance purposes only). The quantities stated are a best estimate of the total annual requirement. Appendix 1 provides current breakdown of usage by size. This competition will have two phases. Phase 1 will be used to appraise, rank and select five tenderers for shortlisting and evaluation. This phase will be weighted at 50% of the total. In phase 2 the five top scoring suppliers will be invited to provide sample product (at cost to the supplier) for internal inspection and clinical testing and evaluation. This phase will also be weighted at 50%. Tenders must be completed in compliance with this Invitation to Tender and the tender documents enclosed. All information relating to this invitation to tender, including tender documentation, clarification and changes will be published on the etenders / OJEU website only. Last date for receipt of invitation to tender questions is 13 February 2015.
