Business Intelligence Services and Tableau Software Licences

Tender description

Huntingdonshire District Council is planning a pilot deployment of a Business Intelligence (BI) solution based on Tableau Software. If successful, the solution may underpin the Council’s corporate strategies for the next 5 years or more. The Council wishes to engage the services of a Tableau Reseller, to assist the Council in better understanding the benefits of Business Intelligence technology and offer relevant technical expertise and experience in the deployment of a pilot solution. Dependent on HDC’s satisfaction with the services provided as part of the pilot implementation and the subsequent status of the project, there may be an option to extend the requirement for further work relating to the corporate deployment of BI. The successful bidder will be expected to provide the following services; a) Recommend an appropriate licence model, based on Tableau software; b) Develop and manage a deployment plan for the pilot; c) Provide comprehensive training/knowledge transfer; d) Provide on-going support for the operational solution.
