Window Cleaning Contract for Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU)

Tender description

Contract for cleaning the windows of the LJMU estate. The successful Contractor and LJMU Estate Manager (Facilities) will agree a schedule and dates for cleaning visits for each building. Cleaning visits normally occur between June and August of each year when teaching activity is reduced across LJMU Estate. It is expected that planning for the work, to agree a work plan and schedule of dates will commence in March of each year. The contractor will perform the contract generally in accordance with the recommendations of BSI British Standard BS 8213: Part 1:2004 Code of Practice for safety in use and during cleaning of windows including door-height windows and roof windows. Note it is a mandatory condition that tendering contractors must be fully accredited members of a Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) affiliated assessment scheme (for example CHAS or National Britannia etc)
