Tender description

STFC are looking for the provision of effort to assist us in developing a Telescope Calibration, Pointing and Observation processing plugin library for the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) Low Frequency Aperture Array (LFAA) using C/C++ shared objects with MCCS API which may optionally call GPU/FPGA accelerators using OpenCL or CUDA. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with Malta/Oxford University as the technical lead along with the SKA LFAA Calibration team.This contract will require working closely with Malta and Oxford Universities who are the technical lead within the LFAA consortium and with the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory who are managing the contract and providing the DAQ test lab.
