Framework for the Provision of a Service to Survey, Supply, Install, Remove, Recondition and Store of Lifts in the Community. Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) is currently delivered through an Internal Home Improvement Agencies (HIA). HIA's are not for profit organisations which assist vulnerable homeowners or private sector tenants, who are older, disabled or on low incomes to repair or adapt their homes. The scope of lifts currently delivered under Disability DFG encompasses Straight & Curved Track Stair Lifts, Platform Lifts and Through Floor Vertical Lifts of which a combined total of approximately 175 are delivered on an annual basis across the County.
