Conveyance of Parcel Mail by Road from Ireland to UK

Tender description

An Post is seeking to enter into contract with one or more service providers to meet its requirements for a driver accompanied solution to Convey Parcel Mail by Road from Portlaoise, Ireland to the United Kingdom (UK). An Post requires an empty trailer(s) to be delivered to Portlaoise Mail Centre (PMC) on the day prior to departure. At PMC, the trailer(s) will be loaded up with mail by An Post staff. The supplier will be required to collect the trailer(s) the following morning. The number of trailers required will be contingent on mail volumes on any particular day. The normal An Post requirement will be one or two trailers per day Monday to Friday. The supplier will be advised by An Post in advance if a higher number of trailers are required. This document can be accessed once you click the "Accept" button that confirms your interest in this tender. An Post will conduct a Pre-Qualification Process in order to establish a qualified list of candidates to take forward into a tender process.
