Soft Market Test - Removal of gull eggs and nest

The deadline for completed questionnaires for this soft market test is Thursday 10th December 2015. Bath & North East Somerset Council is exploring the possibility of tendering a contract for the removal of gull eggs and nests from both domestic and commercial buildings across Bath and North East Somerset. If tendered, the contract would last for an initial term of 1 year with an option for the Council to extend the contract up to a further 12 months. The ambition is to have an approved contractor to complete treatments on behalf of the Council which would contribute to controlling the growth of the gull population. If issued, the tender specification would include the management of customer contacts and appointment bookings, together with the provision of treatments and feedback information. To engage with potential suppliers and to assist us in our decision on whether we take this contract tender forward, we are running a soft market test exercise. To participate in this you will be required to complete and return a short questionnaire, there may also be a follow up meeting once the questionnaires have been reviewed.
