Tender description

The FA is working with Sport England and Sheffield City Council (‘the Council’) to develop a number of new ‘football hub’ sites in Sheffield as part of the City of Sheffield ‘Parklife Project’. The FA, Sport England and the Council (together ‘the project partners’) are seeking to procure an operator to manage the facilities on behalf of a new city-wide ‘Football Trust’ that will be established. Construction of the Hubs is being procured independently of this procurement process. If this pilot project in Sheffield is successful, the FA intends to establish similar Football Trusts in up to 30 of England’s largest cities or unitary local authorities, although the wider rollout does not form part of this process.
