Provision of Consultancy Regarding a Review of the Practical Driving Test Delivery Model

The Department for Transport’s three motoring agencies (DVLA, DVSA and VCA) play a vital role in keeping Britain moving: they test and license drivers; test vehicles and components for safety and conformity to international standards at the point of manufacture and throughout their lifespan; and conduct enforcement activity to ensure the drivers and vehicles on our roads are competent, qualified and safe. The agencies interact with millions of customers per year. We are seeking advice and support on the viability of alternative delivery models for the practical driving test, and identifying the consequences of any changes to the current model for customers, staff and other stakeholders.
