Legionella Monitoring

Tender description

Maldon District Council is seeking a Contractor to carry out its Legionella Monitoring, it is anticipated that this contract can be fulfilled by providing a service for a maximum of 1 day per week for 46 weeks per year: therefore the main body of work in compliance with ACOP L8 is to be as a fixed price. There are some elements which need pricing as a schedule of rates – please refer to the schedule. Accompanying this tender is the following information to assist you in determining your fee: • Full list of Council assets where Legionella controls are required • Invitation to Tender document including Specification brief • Property location plans • Property floor plan sample If you are successful a full set of location/site plans and property floor plans, where relevant, will be made available for your use. Your fee proposal, excluding VAT, must be returned to these offices by no later than 12 noon, Monday 14 December 2015. Once all the tenders have been evaluated, the Council will aim to award the contract to the successful company by early January 2016 to enable the new contract to commence from the 1st April 2016.
