Tender description

DXPS® carries out radiation safety assessments of dental X-ray equipment using a remote test pack system. For calibration and QA purposes DXPS® uses an X-ray set to carry out exposures in its facility at Leeds. This X-ray set is used in continuous operation, for up to 6 hours at a time and the exposures are controlled by means of a bespoke shutter and safety system. The replacement X-ray set needs to be able to be fitted into this existing system and to have as similar specification as possible to the existing set. An addition to the current facility is the water cooling unit. The maximum budget listed includes VAT. Please note: PHE expects lowest possible cost.
