Re-Decoration Works at Fire Stations West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority invite Tenders in respect of Re-Decoration Works at eleven (11) Fire Stations. Contractors will be invited to undertake Full and Complete Internal Re-decoration with additional External Re-decoration including Bay doors where stated. The Contract will be divided into the following work packages or “Lots”: Station locations are detailed below. Lot 1: Handsworth Fire Station Lot 2: Perry Barr Fire Station Lot 3: Highgate Occupational Health Centre Lot 4: Hay Mills Fire Station Lot 5: Billesley Fire Station Lot 6: Smethwick Fire Station Lot 7: Canley Fire Station Lot 8: Solihull Fire Station Lot 9: Willenhall Fire Station Lot 10: Wolverhampton Fire Lot 11: Fallings Park Fire Station The works will be required to start on 14th December 2015 with an expected completion date of no later than 31st March 2016. Bids are invited for all or any of the available lots. It is the preference of the Authority that all the above Lots will be awarded to a single Tenderer. However, should it be more economically advantageous to do so, the Authority may award separate contracts for each Lot or a combination of Lots to separate Tenderers. Contractors (or any subcontractors) will be required to be current registered members of any of the following organisations: PDA, CCSS, Guild of Master Craftsmen, Construction Line (or equivalent). Also; Contractors will be required to self-certify whether they already hold, or can commit to obtain, prior to the commencement of the contract, the levels of insurance cover indicated below: Employer’s (Compulsory) Liability Insurance = £5 million Public Liability Insurance £5 million per claim
